holder of permanent resident card wants to move to vancouver

Good morning

to whom it may concern,

I am Lebanese , My status is canadian permanent resident .
I am actually in Lebanon with my family and intending to move soon to vancouver,
I would like to know how to chose the region in which I have to settle and rent and register the kids at school .
where to start. I know Vancouver is an expensive city  that is why I want an affordable region
can I get help for accommodation and school registration

To choose a province to live is not always easy.
I lived in Vancouver for 11 years and loved it. But you are right, it is the most expensive province in Canada, it is part of why I left.

Craigslist is also a good site to find a lot of things.

For school registration, it depends on the Province you're gonna choose, depends on the age of our kids, if you want a private school, a French or English school...

Quebec and Ottawa is the cheapest of all provinces.

Talking about GTA yes life is insanely expensive however you can try look for accommodation outside GTA but then commuting to your job location may be far.

Schooling is as per region and municipal. Rent in GTA is crazy. Like 2 room a legal basement currently is $1600 all inclusive  or above.
