Hi Everyone,

I would like to open a bank account in KSA but since I don't have an Iqama ( I have a visit visa) I'm unable to do so. I read somewhere that I can open a bank account in Bahrain. Is that true?

You cannot open a bank account in Saudi without an Iqama.

Also in Bahrain, nowadays, most banks require CPR (identity card for Bahrain citizens and residents) which you can't get without a residence visa there.

Only option is Dubai where they allow visit visa holders to open savings accounts i.e. without cheque book but with debit card and internet banking.  But you might need references from your current bank.
