There is a broad and strong growth in the Norwegian economy. Both use from privates and individuals, but also investment in various industries will grow at a rapid rate. Most of the growth will be in the private sector, as oil & gas, construction, housing and energy.

I just wish to get to know their language, culture and especialy them...but I need to be able to support myself while I do so

It's a lot of people from eastern europe in norway for these kind of jobs (jobs who norwegians doesnt want). I don't say it's impossible...

If you have a lot of education the situation is different.

I will probably take BioChemistry when I do my degree, but that is of little help if I can not speak to people. :/

Douglas UK:
Of course - to live and work in Norway permanent, you have to speak Norwegian, or at least, should.

Many companies in Norway, use English as their business language. But these jobs become available only when finishing your degree.

In your case, it’s could be possible to find a job just to support you. You are doing fine with speaking english, Norwegian speak English very well. Is there any skills or interests that you do very well or know a lot about?
