And I doubt they would hurt you in the off chance they knew. Doing so risks a  bigger expose.

Like I said way back in the beginning, other people's business makes you feel bad. Just stay out of it.

Maybe they will delete this thread for you if you ask. It would still be in the google cache for a while, but would eventually be purged.

Thought I would revive this one for Throwback Thursday, and of course in the Filipino tradition of ignoring time, I didn't get around to it until Saturday.  Plenty of wisdom in here as to how Manwonder lost his only expat friend and the possible consequences of getting involved in other people's "afairs".

"Covid 19" will level the playing field!..
Many more family members/friends have gathered at the house...which looks/smells like mass unemployment/loss of income...small squabbles seems to be getting louder by the day!
(Not so much room for pinoy tradition anymore!)
I just may buy the (80% completed) house if it ever goes on "FIRE SALE"!
Meantime the part about the "Shantui" bulldozer still applies here too!
As for my expat buddy...wish him all the very best....I'll still watch his back if he ever returns!
