Hi Ibrahim,

You really need to ask around to see when the "pasar malam" is in your part of the city.  This is the night market in which you can buy food, used clothing, fresh veggies and fruit and small household items.

You don't say what used items you want.  If you are looking for used appliances, refrigerators, tvs, that sort of thing, you won't find at a market, but there are many shops in Ipoh that repair and then sell those items used.

Again, just ask around.  Most people are friendly and lots of folk speak English in Ipoh, in the event your Malay or Arabic is not very good.

Good luck.
