I'd say that if you have ever gotten correspondence from the IRS here in Brazil, you'll get your check and they are valid for a year. The problem will be getting it BACK to a place to deposit it given that Correios has suspended foreign service (and where I live there is no Fedex/DHL). I'm still hunting for a solution - which might simply be to be patient.

Funny (or not) story about a bill for medical services in 2018 while back home that was sent to me in mid 2019 that only now arrived, and quite miraculously. The envelope was addressed to:
MyName
MyFullStreetAddress

There was no city, neighborhood, state, country, CEP on the envelope and STILL it got to me. There's an envelope that has to have had a journey and a patient person to have sat down with my name and street to figure out how to get to me.

I already had paid the bill....

Frame the letter......the "IRS has begun processing some "Paper Returns"  the one I mailed in March shows "Recieved" .

I still have 2 Amended "Paper Returns"  in a Trailer somewhere in Texas.....it's hard to believe everyone at the  IRS were all working on Stimulas. ......kkk......yea I know quarantine and reopening all in the mix...

I just do not understand? I sent in 2018 and 2019 (e file and accepted), low AGI, bank info, and still nothing but. "Need Information" since April.

Hi!

Looking for any recipients of paper stimulus checks with no means to send it back for deposit into a USA bank. I'm swapping notes with a House rep trying to find a way to get my check to my bank given I have no Fedex, no DHL and no SEDEX (Correios has suspended USA service - they say).

Oh - I did call the Stimulus Support folks who told me they had no way to cancel a paper check to re-deposit via direct deposit.

Please send me a PM with just an indication of what city/state you are in.  I'm trying to determine how many of us are in this pickle.

My income should be ok. My only fear is that Brazilian customs throw letters away without the CPF. But
