A few drinks have lost these expats their jobs at a time when getting another isn't going to be that easy, especially when potential new employers ask why they left their last position.

As I said many times before, Singapore is NOT the place to break rules.
However, allowing bars open as "takeaways" wasn't the smartest of moves by the authorities either.
