Looking for some general information on the annual high/low temperatures for various parts of the south of the island as part of the area selection process for all year round living.

In my experience of 6 years this month

Jan Feb tend to be the wettest and thus coldest months - feeling colder indoors than out. But temps wise highs of 16/17 and lows of 7-10

Mar Apr things are warming up yet still cool with highs of 18-20 and lows of 13-16

May Jun - our fave summer months warm but nice with highs of 22-25 and lows of 16-20 this year saw it much cooler at night than normal in the paphos region

Jul Aug usually the hottest and most humid of months can be uncomfortable with highs of 32-43 and lows of 25-28 - can be very hot at night indoors...

Sep Oct = another fave time for us cooler and nice in the evenings.. with highs of 25-28 and lows of 23-25

Nov Dec  much cooler but still a nice climate - colder in the evenings with highs fo 23-25 and lows of 18-20

Paphos town and harbour areas always a couple of degrees warmer and the further inland & higher inland much cooler to the point of being very cold in winter....

Similiar to what Toon says here in Larnaca.. Also my favourite months would be september and october where the temperature here would be like a good summers day at home..

I lived also in Nicosia for a year. And i found the summer temperatures there to be hotter and stickier than larnaca as there is usually a slight breeze here which drops the temperature by a couple of degrees.

I find july and august to be the hottest and most uncomfortable. One thing for certain u wouldnt survive here without air conditioning in your home and your car.

Also having lived in a few different house and apartment types i found that the standard of construction can be hit and miss and as there is no insulation in a lot of buildings like back home.  The houses can be extremely cold in Dec Jan and Feb.. And. Most places dont have central heating so a lot of people use a combination of Super Sers and air condition turned to heat which is quiet expensive during the winter and also uncomfortable.

But overall except for july and august the temperature here in Larnaca is extremely pleasant. And its great to be able to pop down to beach for a swim to cool down this time of year..
