Moving to or near Gib....

Hi to all firstly.....

My wife an I are currently living over in Tenerife, however Island life is not really suiting us that great....!!!
My wife an I are really looking into jumping on a ferry and relocating to or near Gib... I myself am looking for work in the gaming sector, whether it be in the online gaming sector or the live casino run by Gala...
My wife is Russian, so we know we would need to sort out visas for her to work in Gib (she does have her Spanish NIE)
Are there visa checks and border check on the way into Gib or is it just a case of walking in??
And looking at the price of rent there we are looking to live on the Spanish side, so does anyone know where and where not to look??

they is a visa check for entering Gibraltar.
they seems to be very easy on it, but i have an European passport, so maybe that why.
For the record,i saw them one time stopping people and they didn't let them enter.
