Singapore phase 3 and new S pass applicants

I saw that Singapore is entiring in phase three in two weeks time. Is there any official announcement what will be their take on new S pass applicants? I am residing outside Singapore and my application has beeen rejected twice up until now because of safe distance measures.

Phase 3 implication on 28 Dec’20 is more into internal measurements and giving relaxation on few restrictions. It doesn’t say about any other impact including pass approval. You can read in details by visiting below official link from ministry.

During the talk it was mentioned that borders will be opened, but yes most of the speech was concentrated on the internal aspects.

Yes, slowly they will open up the border but it may takes several months to entire year 2021 if we want to see normalcy. At present, the border talk was to create a travel lane for business travellers from all countries.

I hope the vaccination starts as soon as possible. I think that is the only solution.

The Singapore Ministry of Manpower says it now has “more room” to accommodate the entry of work pass holders to ease the manpower shortage, citing Singapore’s “stable” COVID-19 situation. I Just saw this article in CNA page.

I hope we qualify for the S pass then. I think my company applied this week for the S pass. I will post the outcome here.

Sadly my company gave 2 weeks ago on my case and they found a new candidate T_T.

I am so sorry. Our companies may give up also. There is no assurance we will get the visa yet. These are unprecedent times.
