Hello all.

Does anyone know the complete procedure to apply for Citizenship by Descent, without having to pay extortionate prices to companies that benefit from this process?

I have read this page numerous times and it just confirms that you can claim Citizenship by Descent, but it doesn't say how, and any link from it takes you to a "404 Page not Found".

It says the Civil Registry is the place to register. Locally that office is in the court of first instance. My Filipino wife applied for nationality there.
