My husband and I are retiring to France(could be anywhere within 20k of the Med.coast from the border of Italy to Spain--wont know until we explore it all) Before arriving,we need to find a basic studio w/kitchen ,somewhere in the aforementioned area,(18 sqm and up) for 2 or 3 months. We arent interested in a 'vacation home' or B&B,view of the sea,etc---just a room under 500e/month.If u have need for extra income and have an available room ,starting in July(we can arrive in Sept. if nec.-we are not coming for vacation stay) Hotel accomodation reservations are not accepted by the French Embassy,if anyone was thinking of suggesting that. Any ideas?

Thanks,Aubriella

If you are arriving in the summer and only want to rent for a month or two on a budget have you thought about a mobile home or static caravan?  Otherwise there are plenty of websites for buying or renting property.
