Hello everyone

I hope someone can give me some answers to my questions.

We are a Swiss couple and will live in Mauritius most time of the year. With covid most likely 365 days  year😉
That means we have, what I understood so far, to pay taxes in Mauritius.

Do we still have to pay taxes in Switzerland?
Does Mauritius have an agreement with Switzerland?
Where can I find more information about this topic?

Any recommendations about which mauritius bank works best with international transfers? E-banking and App, etc....

Thank you,  Sandra and Roger

Welcome Sandra & Roger

I found the following sites which may have answers wrt your tax question.

Will you be working and earning an income in Mauritius, or will your funds for living be coming in from Switzerland ?

First prize would be to do a full “tax emigration” out of Switzerland and benefit from the fixed-rate 15% Mauritian income tax.

In any event, you should not have to pay tax on both sides.
