Second stimulus paper check

I am stateside and have not received my check/debit card. Go to irs.gov to report your situation. There is a process to correct the nonpayment condition.

P.S. I am currently living in the Philippines

Your physical location should not make a difference. You are due the funds if you are eligible. There are lots of people in your and my situation.

If youre talking about the $600 check no i have'nt received it either. I got the $1200 check using the non filers app. I dont understand why i never got the second one.

I don't understand this. Those of us with direct deposit have received the THIRD check now. Are you waiting for a check in the mail to reach you in the Philippines? Does the Treasury Dept have your address? I know some do not file taxes and clearly that can be one issue, but I am assuming if you got the first check your address is on file somewhere.

I got the first. But nothing after. I have an US address.

My first check was mailed oct 2,2020 and received it dec 18, 2020...so i guess we have to wait before we put a trace on our check

You havent gotten your 600 or 1400 check yet then.

Any news from your bank about the check clearing?

Nope. The third check said its scheduled to be mailed on march 26...how about yours?

What about it? It’s still the same..21 banking days or more for the check to clear

My $1400 was direct deposited into the samechecking account where my Social Security check gets direct deposited yesterday.

Any luck on your second stimulus checks? Should we use the payment trace or recovery rebate? I don’t have a US bank account...also visited the local post office...they said nothing came yet...still waiting

I still haven’t received mine. How would you put on a trace on it?

If you need to cash a covid/Treasury check quickly and easily here in PI:  First,  find a friend with a US bank account;  Second, endorse the check and take a picture of it front and back ; Third, have your friend send the pics to their bank electronically, and the paper check through post. The deposit will be in your friend's account within minutes to two days from the moment of sending the pics. My friend gave me (6) $100 notes within 10 minutes of sending the pics to his bank and said, "Wow! That was the quickest."

It was scheduled to be sent Jan. 6, but it was sent to a friend in Boston and DHLed to me here, so I received it Feb. 2.

It took 3 days via DHL from the US to MNLA, and 9 days from MNLA to Angeles City, Pampanga.

Should’ve address it in the states...but my first check arrived after 2 months..wondering what happened to the second check

Yes most of us are wondering what happened to our second check. I got the first one straight away.

Wow but you got the second check...that’s weird...guess we have to wait a little bit longer...cause if we try a payment trace...they’ll resend it again and it’ll be longer wait

The first check was forwarded to me from Boston by post; it hasn't arrived yet and was forwarded in early November. The second check was DHL-ed to me ; it arrived here, AC, in 4 weeks. I just, minutes ago, received word that my friend will be DHL-ing the third check today, Monday EST. and I expect to receive it in about two weeks (it spent nine days in MNLA customs last time,)

The 6th, I believe, of Jan.

Hi. Just received the notice 1444-B by mail. It was dated February 26. Kinda confused how they send the notice late, but the check was supposedly sent on January 6. Anyways, Hope the check will come next. That’s how i got the first stimulus. Notice first then the check after a week. Good luck to us

Maybe this is the wrong thread, but I feel it's  worth mentioning that my third check was DHL-ed to me by a friend and it arrived 6 days earlier than scheduled by DHL. I believe also that DHL is a tad cheaper than FedEx.

That’s great news! May I ask where in the Philippines are you located? And for some odd reason, I received my first stimulus check before the notice... check in January and then the notice in March. Hopefully all will follow through!

Im in tarlac central luzon. Maybe all are diffrent. Hopefully we all get the check before we request a trace. Because its gonna be 6 weeks for them to respond, and another few months for the new check.
