My husband and I, (From Austin, Texas) will be headed back to the DR to look at properties. We were there in January and we think we are leaning to purchasing in the Las Terrenas area. We will be staying at the Wyndham Sanama resort on Playa Coson beach from the 22nd of April to the 27th. Then we will be looking to rent a place for two nights on the hill and two nights beach front. Probably will be looking in the area of Playa Coson and Playa Bonita. But not set in stone just yet. We are thinking of maybe renting in the area/community/subdivision of areas that we are considering of buying.

From Las Terrenas we will then head to Dominicus to spend two nights there. May 1st and May 2nd. Then we will be in Cap Cana for three nights before we head back home. If anybody wants to get together in any of those locations, please let me know. We just like to meet up with people and really talk and get to know expats.

Have you already been working with a realtor to find properties to see when you are here? If you're on Facebook, the Everything Las Terrenas group has a ton of postings of properties for sale and for rent, as well as just being a great source of information.

Our apartment on Playa Bonita (development is beachfront, but we're about 300 yards from the beach) is for sale and for rent! We still have a few nights open in late April. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/23462897

We can also show you our property under construction in the Coson Lomas. We should have at least a foundation by then, if not the beginning of walls!
