Hi,
I am planning of making company in Cyprus. Everything would be fine but accountants are very expensive and I read somewhere that you have to submit your taxes and vat through professional and certified accountant. Some accountants charging more for invoice than my products costs 😥

Is that correct? I cannot do it on my own?

My recent experience of accountants supports what you have heard quoting €250 per hour plus vat at 19%  and that was for relatively simple returns and registration matters

I think perhaps that you may be confusing an accountant with someone who works in billing.  In general, Accountants do not raise invoices (except for their services), they may well have started off working in Billing (or invoicing), but that will before they got AACA creditation/qualified.

Perhaps you need to look for a Business Services company?

They do if they work for themselves lol

LOL - yeah, as I said, for their own services.  Nobody charges an hourly rate to raise an invoice; I've only seen it once and the guy did it deliberately to put people off asking for it because he would have to hire somebody especially to do it.
