Specifics about books, mugs, and food stuffs quantities...

laateeda

Hello Expats!

I am curious about some more details about what is allowed in your shipping container.  I have a pretty extensive book collection that I would love to bring with me.  I also have an awesome coffee cup collection.  I know some things, like clothing and appliances have very specific quantity rules, but what about other items like books, coffee cups, etc.

I'm also a little confused on food items.  I see that food stuffs are not allowed.   However, I have also seen a lot of people who bring packaged items.  Is there information about this somewhere that I'm missing?

Thanks for your time!

In the covid era, rules change too swiftly to rely on laymen Expats for guidance.

I'd say, contact a container-shipping company for specific rules.

Here's a place to start for Ecuador-bound containers....

www.icontainers.com

I have no financial connection to this company.
