Tips Please: Singaporean - Foreigner Marriage

Well, the financial requirements for a Singaporean-foreign couple are the same as for others: You must earn enough to pay for your daily expenses.
I assume that wasn't really your question, so please be more specific.

An aspect you might be interested in is visa:
- To join your spouse in Singapore, you need an LTVP. To get one, he must earn enough to pay for both your daily expenses. There is no exact number published, but from experience I'd say below S$4000/month would be very difficult to survive and thus the authorities will not give you a visa. (Foreign couples need S$6000/month to get a DP.)
- Once you are here and found a job, you can apply for an LoC that allows you to work on LTVP. Please note that this is often rejected, so don't count on it!

You also asked about retirement:
- Your partner certainly contributes to CPF, which is meant to cover his retirement needs. It may not be enough for two people, so you should save some more on top of that!
- Once you become PR (after min. three years in Singapore), you must also contribute to CPF and thus build up your own retirement fund.

I am an expatriate, using EP Visa in Malaysia and my fiancee is a Singaporean, residing in Singapore.

We applied for PMLA- Pre Marriage Long Term Visit Pass but was rejected 2 years ago and no reason was given, we plan to apply for it again and we have also set our marriage to be in July 2023.

Please is there any advice we need to take note of, to avoid rejection again?

@topetolu55 PMLA is not a long-term visa, but only a pre-assessment of whether you could get an LTVP.

Without knowing your rejection reason (and other details of your case), we cannot advise further, sorry!

Does your fiancee earn enough to feed both of you? If not, you better find a job in Singapore before you apply for the LTVP.
