Hello,

If I purchase a car from an expatriates, I got it on my name. But what about Compulsory Insurance ? is it still valid?

How to get /renew the Compulsory insurance of the car?

Hello,

When you purchased a car, you have to do the transfer in Exhibition centre, (authorized from GOVT). They will keep the car for 1 day & then they will give you 3 cards

1. Car Registration (Istemara)
2. Owner Card
3. Insurance (Compulsory)

The Insurance contract will be cancelled, you have to issue another one under your name, and for the buyer if his insurance contract has started since three months or less , he will be eligible for refund, otherwise, he will lose any opportunity to claim any refund.

Cheapest Insurance contract " against others damages " is 350 SAR.

Hi,

I recived only 2 cards, one is vechicle registration card and other is insurance car.

Is only these 2 cards are rquired only?
