Anyone with both Saudi and Bahraini residence permit?

Post new topic

I would like to know if such people can travel between the two countries after taking just one shot of the vaccination. What's the entire process on both sides? Any personal experience, suggestion will be greatly helpful.

Thanks

If you search the forum, I have commented on the process many times.

I have both Bahrain and Saudi residence.  But you can't travel both ways with one dose. If you have Saudi one dose, that doesn't help you with Bahrain. Similarly if you have Bahrain two doses, of say, sinopharm, that doesn't help you with Saudi.

I have two doses of sinopharm in bahrain and one dose of Pfizer in Saudi. Entering Saudi, I need a pcr test but no quarantine.  Entering bahrain, I don't face test or quarantine......if you had one dose, you would face both.

I truly appreciate your help. I have taken one dose of Pfizer in Saudi.

Please don't mind but can you also advise on the following?

If I traveled to Bahrain from Jeddah, where would I be quarantined? My Bahrain address is actually in the name of my sister and brother in law, while the internet bill is in my name. I don't mind PCR but I want to avoid the institutional quarantine, if possible.

Also, is returning from Bahrain to Jeddah on an Indian passport (although with Saudi Iqama) going to be an issue?

Generally speaking, do they make it an issue that one has both residencies?

Going to Bahrain, there is a chance that you might not be quarantined at all - Bahrain seems to have relaxed for one dose people coming via the causeway.  A few of my friends didn't have to quarantine.

Going back won't be an issue either but they will give you a tough time on entry and check every single page of your passport to see if you went to India or not.

I have never had any issue with holding two residencies.

Thanks very much! Do you advise me to enter through causeway instead of taking a flight? In case they asked me to quarantine,do you think I can be considered for a home quarantine at my sister's address?

I haven't traveled to India for over 2 years.

It's quite a relief to learn that two residenceies won't be any issue.

Thanks again.

Enter through causeway.  Carry your sisters CPR copy and a print out of CPR data that shows address just in case.  I don't think they will send you for quarantine in Bahrain if you have the same experience as some of my friends.
