Moving to Tagum City to join my wife

Hello, I have been to PH on 4 different occasions in the past two years. I would like to know if anyone knows anything about living in Tagum City.
Eg: How safe is it to live there and raise a family ? Etc.
I am a retired American looking to live with my wife in Tagum City. Thank you in advance.

Tagum is a very green and quiet place not far away from Davao.

I was there in february 2018 together with my Filipine wife

I grew up in Davao City and Agusan Del Sur, Tagum is almost in the middle, it is ok to live there just stay away from flooded areas. Always choose higher elevation. I use to go home every year but pandemic stops me from visiting, until the quarantine is over then I plan to go back.

I live in a city near Tagum and have been to Tagum many times. I got married there about 16 years ago. It is a very clean and nice city compared to other places I've been. There are lots of fairly clean swimming places nearby. Compared to my city nearby it is amazingly clean.
