I've recently moved from Los Angeles and I'm looking for other expats who want to explore the city and surrounding cities, make new friends, and in general find some adventure in spite of the pandemic.

Welcome to the nordeste Naiscribe!

McLen

I’m up the road in João Pessoa. Would love to meet other English speaking people in my city.

Moved here in Jan 2021, married a Brazilian woman, bought a condo. And am working remotely for an American company.

McLen - looks like there's another recent arrival in JP - MA22. I'm also here in PB but upstream in Campina. I don't get to the beaches much but I'm around if there's any local advice I can help out with.

Peter Itamaraca

Hi - any of your guys still around? I am from the UK, but moved to live on the island of Itamaracá in 2007 with my British wife but only joined this Forum this year. (We both have investor visas.)

mberigan

Hi Peter. Still here in Paraíba.

The first visit I made to Itamaracá was 1981. Probably the last time I was there was 1999. I'm guessing it has changed a lot.

Good to see you and your wife have stuck it out for a long time on the island.
