Where is the breaker/fuse box usually located?

Finally made it to the Philippines after ten and half months, and I'm having some electrical issues in my kitchen and guest bedroom downstairs.

I've looked all over the house and I can't find the box. If anyone has an idea where it might be, It would be greatly appreciated.

I dont know if its general, but some have it at OUTSIDE of house,
so anyone can reach to sabotage/prank!

If I remember correct, or perhaps I remembered it from a long time ago in an other Asian country - When everyone have own long separate cable connectiion to the grid so its a mess of cables, some electric company installers put the (main) fuze, where the cable STARTS at the grid, so a personal fuze can even be far from the house!

find where the wires enter the house usually they like to put close to the incoming wires.  some houses here dont even have electrical panels.  they just run directly off the meter.  the electrical here is very different.

The one I last stayed at was in the kitchen.

If you're renting, try asking your landlord where the circuit breaker is.  If you can't contact him / her or don't have a landlord, try looking inside the kitchen cabinets.  You might have to clear out some of the stuff in the cabinet in order to find it.  Our circuit breaker is hidden inside an empty kitchen cabinet. So are my parents' circuit breaker.

Or they dont have any by sharing same official connection plus common messy installation.
Or its a sneak connection to a not knowing neighbour  :)

Have you checked the nearest coconut tree?
I'm only half kidding. I have seen the breakers everywhere from the pole, a tree, to hidden under a counter.
