Dear all
I fall in a slightly in a different category to the expats.
I was born in Ghana, raised in Togo and France and living in the UK
I am trying to expand my circle of friends in Ghana.  I often travel to Ghana and actually will be there in June. The objective is to move to Ghana in the near future.
It would great to be able to develop contacts and feel less isolated.

I am a professional in the public sector in the field of technology enabled care.
I will not be offended if you feel that this platform is not suitable.
Kindly
J

Hi there,
I have been in Ghana since 1995, mostly staying around Tamale and Yendi. Never got to sign up to a platform like this all these years... I am a Literacy Consultant working to improve literacy outcome levels in primary schools in rural communities in the Northern Region through the promotion of Mother-Tongue Based Multi-Lingual Education (MTB-MLE), capacity building of teachers, reading assessments, and material development. I live here with my Ghanaian partner and two sons. Looking forward to connect.

Great to make contact. If you would like to make contact with more Spouses of Ghanaians you can join a group on Whattsap called African Spouses Club. One of the organisers is a Canadian lady called Amanda and she is based in Tamale at the moment. Hope you can make lots of contacts

@Mallau Welcome
I'm sure you will continue to enjoy your stay in Ghana.
You could also make contacts through Ghana International Expats on Facebook

Hello and it's feel good to be here. I'm Moses, a 25-year-old, Nigerian by Nationality, a high school graduate with a little technical school education.

I was recently admitted to study towards a BSc Computer Science programme in Accra Institute of Technology (AIT). This would be my first time leaving Nigeria and I really want to make use of this opportunity.

I want to meet someone from here based in Accra, Ghana, who can assist me in settling down (probably squatting at first), getting a job (I am a web designer, and digital expert) till I am fully established in Accra.

Yoginee

Hello Moses,

Welcome to expat.com!

Congratulations on your admission!1f60e.svg

Is it safe to be squatting in an unknown country? I would not recommend that.1f610.svg

Are you looking for a full-time job or a part-time job? Juggling your studies and a full-time job could be difficult at first....

On another note, I hope our members are able to guide and advise you accordingly.

Cheers,

Yoginee

@jidemosaic

hi Jide, it’s almost rare to see a Nigerian willing to accommodate another because of unknown traits, characters and fear of the unknown. While I’ll advise you to do your research well before settling down, also be careful of whoever of who may be of help.

aujmwakalinga
