Hi all,

I'm a Malaysian used to work in Singapore for the past 5 years.
My ex potential employer claimed he has applied for my WP but end up I got cheated and was overstayed for more than 60 days.

Surrendered at causeway and paid $500 fine. Was told by the officer due to 60/90 days rules, I could only return after 90 days away from Singapore.

Recently I tried to apply for VTL via safe travel and was rejected multiple times.

That's where I approach ICA through email and got to know I was barred from entering Singapore.
No reason was given and no timeline was given on when I could return.

Even with local sponsor and with MP letter, the entry application is still rejected.

I'm clean for the past 5 years and this overstay is my first offense though I know more than 60 days is pretty serious, I have friends who overstayed for more than 90 days was able to re-enter after 90 days.

Please advise what should I do.

The response from ICA, however it was still rejected with local sponsor.

My employer has just applied sponsor through local company. Will it help?
