I wanted to ask how many days does it take to get your visa after application using Annex 46 document ? If anyone has recently been through this process, please post your timeline. Thank you.

Hi, have you received SP ?

AlexFromBelgium

Hello

technically, you must go to the commune of residence within the first 8 days to state your arrival (book an appointment if you're gonna live in a big city like Brussels or Antwerpen!!!) and they'll give you the annexe 49 that allow you to start working immediately.

I am asking how long it takes to get a Visa to comeback to Belgium, when I have a Single Permit?

Aneesh

come back ? or to enter Belgium for first time ?

When I have my Single Permit, i will have to apply for visa to return to Belgium since my previous Residence Permit has expired. i want to know how long it takes to get a Visa when i have a Single Permit.

Aneesh

Usually a week or so. DO mention in the cover letter you had a residence permit and it expired, (*and give details like national number, etc).

Thank you for your reply.

Hi Aneesh, I had another question. I received my Annex 46 document and am going to apply for Visa D Work, through VFS India. I looked online in the Belgium Diplomatic website. For Single Permit application, they just asked for Annex 46 and Passport and Language selection form, since my employer already submitted other documents and got me the Single Permit Approval. Do you think that should be enough to get the visa? If yes, can I expect to get it in 2 weeks? Thanks for your help.
