Can I get work permit if I have inactive TB?

Post new topic

Hi everyone, I am from Myanmar. I would like to work in Singapore. But I want to know whether I can get a work permit if I have a TB scar on my lung. I have taken a six month treatment from the hospital and the doctor said that I am all cured, but the scar left remain. So every time I take X ray, there will always be a scar on my X ray. But I am not infectious. Please tell me if I can get work permit with my condition. Thank you.

@Vero
Thank you very much Vero.

Get a certificate from your doctor that you are treated and TB-free.
Or have an examination about this done in Singapore (on your own cost).
