The latest Old Dog New Tricks Youtube video by Paul. (hours old)

He talks about the restrictions about Covid  being lifted for travelers coming to the Philippines. There is now a bigger influx of these travelers and he has met some of these new arrivals. Quite a few have had online exchanges with the women of their dreams, some even for several years and even one had an Utah online marriage without meeting her.

This is a must see for all men planning on coming to the Philippines in the future.

Especially if you met the woman of your dreams on a dating site.

If Paul says it's So, better believe him.

@Enzyte Bob Even though I have seen some of his videos and found some of the information useful, I would always double and triple check it.

One thing that we never see is the closeness between himself and his filipina. just because she has her own channel and sometimes joins him on his videos does not  convince me they have a proper loving, touchy feely relationship. It just looks a bit fake to me. I have never really seen anything in his videos to confirm that theirs is a proper loving relationship.

I have not personally met him but have definitely seen him around town and in the coffee shops - Ground Zero, Bo's, etc. Always chatting with other guys. He is clearly quite social, not my cup of tea though. Reminds me too much of high school, lol. As far as his gf and their relationship goes - not all Filipinas are warm and affectionate all the time - my gf isn't.

@pnwcyclist Every Filipino I have had a relationship has been loving and touchy feely, always holding hands etc. One of the reasons I mentioned it was that in one video they were talking about their pet names for each other. I think she refers to him as Dad or something Dad, not even remotely romantic.

I would say many are, so your experience is certainly valid, but not all are. My girlfriend isn't and for the most part I appreciate that. I don't like too much of that . She's a do-er, and focused on all that needs to be done, as we always have a lot on our plate, and that's just her style. Different story when we get away or go on vacation.

Well. Its common in Asian cultures to NOT show much affection in PUBLIC

BUT BEFORE Filipinas feel sure to have got the man, they can want to SHOW "This in my man. Other women stay away"   :)

Whoa Bro . . .Closeness & touching in public are for the honeymooners or like some infatuated newbee Expat fresh off the plane.

What did you expect from Paul? A video on Pornhub, instead of Youtube?

When you say it just looks a little fake to you, talking about fake, maybe your Filipina faked you out, but you're not alone. You're not the first and the line is long and getting longer.

My take on Paul. . . . He is informative and not biased, he tells it like it is without being offensive or insulting.

But I do think his latest video hits close to home in your situation.  You're hurting now, but you will forget about your Filipina when the  next one comes along.

@Enzyte Bob I just meant that in their videos I can see no signs of closeness. Sure he does a good enough job but it’s just my observations. Her pet name for him for one is just weird. It is not the sort of name two people who are really close would use.
For me also If my relationship does turn out to be over, no more Filipinos for me. But I do need  to establish some line of communication with her again for the sake of our lovely daughter. At the moment she seems to have that Tampo thing.

I know something personal like that hurts . . . .it really takes a toll on your well being. I hope you get through it, we've all have had heartbreak in our lives, so you're not alone.

Thank you Bob for your kind words. I will just see what happens now and like I said, we need to keep in touch for the sake of our daughter. Her asking me for money was not really the big problem, it was some of the things she said when I refused to send the money. I am not prepared to tell all but one thing she did say was that she was just testing me. Now testing is something that is done to establish if something works and can be usable and the only way her test would have been successful is if I had have offered to send her the money. Therefore if I had offered to send her the money, she would not have refused and she would have done it again further down the line. By the sound of it she will be needing more cash to repair that 100k vehicle (maybe death trap) she bought. I may need to find out more about that vehicle because if it is junk and she is transporting our daughter in it, I would not be very happy.

Who knows, it may be something we can get over but she would have to understand that I will not send her money for things like this.

@Enzyte Bob Paul “ Old Dog” is great just as Is Gio in the Philippines and Rico.  They are realistic and give good advice. I am married to a wonderful Filipina for 16 years. She does not show much affection in public but different story at home.  Paul and Lady Mae are fine. Tired of people making judgement calls on things they know nothing of.

Although I do like the Old Dog Channel as it's entertaining.. I have to remind myself this guy was the finance guy at a large auto dealership. He is warm and funny as he makes you think you need things like serial number etched glass. I'm not judging just saying. Don't watch Gio or Rico as I grew tried of them. On the other hand Mark -every man has a story makes me want to puke. If even 5% of what he says is true I would be amazed. YMMV I also have a channel.. if you need to fall asleep then watch me build a house. :)

The Finance Guy is the heart and one of the most important person in a dealership. He is the profit maker in the sales department. Same thing goes for the Service Manager to convince you of repairs you don't really need.

When dealing with the Finance Guy, the best solution is to say no to everything. When dealing with the Service Manager, it's in your interest not to visit the service department unless it is covered by the warranty. Have your repair work by an  independent person or garage.

The money of a dealership is made in those two areas, not on the agreed price price between you and the salesperson.
