Internet providers and Costs in Belize by dsscott

Wondering what the costs of initial access and ongoing subscription are for internet in Belize - also are there choices in carriers? Is there a difference in service and in prices? Things to be wary of? Thanks, dsscott

Alida S.

I live in the capital city of Belmopan and I paid a $500 BZD deposit and was told it would be refundable in two years. I don't use a home phone but have to pay for the line to have the internet which makes my payments $168.7 5BZD a month with taxes ... Read More

Desperate expat housewives by Julien

Do and don't in Russia by expat.com

Are you living in Russia? We need you to share your experience of the local customs :) Is it difficult to adjust to the local customs in Russia? Could you please share with us a list of the do's and don't's in Russia? Thanks!

Alida S.

Do learn as much as you can about the culture and learn some phrases before coming. If you are polite and friendly you will be treated that way in return. At least that has been my experience and I have lived here for 4 years now! Read More

Alida S.

I think it depends on where you are at in Russia. Moscow is a very large city just like Los Angeles and I would not walk the streets of LA late at night either. My husband and I take late night walks here in Krasnodar and it is very pleasant... ... Read More
