Hello all!

Will be heading to Cabarete on 1/27 (it is reconnaissance for retirement) and was wondering several things:

Is there a taxi service you recommend?

Any place with e-bicycles for rent or just bicycles?

What restaurants do you recommend?

Any good places to find expats hanging out?

Any information would be great!

Pretty much any place in Cabarete you will find expats and tourists hanging out!

Maybe someone in Cabarete can organize a meet and greet???

I have used Nelson, basic english, not the best ..comfortable minivan.. travels all over the area with tourists and regular clients that return several times a year.. Stays busy,https://puerto-plata-driver-tours.business.site/

I have also used Nelson, and he is very good. Really nice guy and has a comfortable van. PM me if you want his contact info.

Thank you! I'll do that! And I think it would be a lovely idea to get together with expats to meet and greet and truthfully, to ask a bunch of questions.

We will be heading to the Mojito Bar on Friday night, the 27th around 7PM if anyone would be interested in giving us some info on the lay of the land in Cabarete. I'm a big guy(6'2" and around 275) with short hair and a trimmed beard thats kinda gray and brown while my wife is short with short red hair.
