From Saudi to Bahrain

My friend is planning to visit Bahrain from Saudi , through Saptco Bus. He is an expat also in Saudi. What are the requirements he might need to bring or prepare? And also, there are two trips per day in Saptco, right? Thank you.

He needs to have an Iqama and exit re-entry visa.

Not if he has an iqama with a non-labor profession.
