I want to invite my fiance to visit and travel along with me in Hungary for 2 months. I will have to provide invitation letter for same.

What is the procedure ? Is it necessary that invitation letter has to be in Hungarian language?

If i write the invitation letter in English, get it notarized and send the copy of invitation letter and other documents to him should be enough?

I put your question in ChatGPT, it gave this logical answer :

To invite your fiance to visit and travel with you in Hungary, you will need to provide an invitation letter. The letter should include your personal details, your fiance's personal details, the purpose of the trip, the duration of the stay, and your relationship with your fiance.

The invitation letter can be written in English, and it is not necessary to have it in Hungarian. However, if your fiance is applying for a visa to enter Hungary, the visa application may require a translation of the invitation letter into Hungarian. In that case, you can obtain a translation from a certified translator.

It is also recommended to include any supporting documents that can demonstrate your ability to financially support your fiance during their stay in Hungary, such as bank statements or proof of employment.

Once you have the invitation letter and supporting documents ready, you can send them to your fiance, who can use them to apply for a visa to enter Hungary. The visa application process can vary depending on your fiance's country of origin, so it is best to check with the nearest Hungarian embassy or consulate for specific requirements and procedures.

Thanks a lot for taking time to answer my query

Several websites say that it requires the invitation letter to be notarized or endorsed by immigration office.

I am not sure about that procedure. I can get it notarized and i hope it will be enough. Need some clarity on that part.

You don't say which passport/citizenship your friend holds.

We are EU citizens (Dutch), but mother of my wife is Kyrgyz, what was required quite excessive, bank balances, guarantee, home ownership, notary certifcation, .... Best to go to the office of residency permit (where you go for yours), they will tell you (and they will issue the proper documentation (just arranging can be a pain)
