I will retire probably to Malta in the 3 /4 years.  I living oversea for the time. (expat) . Married to a Maltese wife for 18 years and we have also bought an apartment there .

I´m French national and benefit from French social medical service.

Also today I have a international medical cover called MSH

What is the best for a good medical coverage after I Retire, do i need a complementary medical for Malta and if yes which one. ?

thank you

If France has an agreement with Malta, as the UK does for health cover, then you would not need additional cover, nor if you are covered by your wife's entitlement if she has paid into the Maltese system.
