The concept seems to be quite new in Mexico.

Although I see quite a few requests from expats, on social media, for coliving/shared housing in PV, SMDA, and other places in Mexico, I dont see many/none for Baja California North.

Considering the amount of people who want to come and live in Mexico for years, but dont want to live alone or even never been to Mexico before, I wonder why they would want to live that deep into the country.

Cost of living?

Graziella, have you tried joining some of the Facebook groups in the Rosarito/Ensenada area?  Lots of them; lots of expats.  I saw one woman was looking for a housemate, had the room it appeared, and was on the beach.  I believe she was asking around $800 and that included utilities.  Not sure about the actual square feet, but she posted pictures and it looked like it was not a small place.

I live in Kansas City, MO. Did you move to Mexico yet? If not, are you near the Mo/KS border?? I've been widowed since 2018. Ready for a change. I love Mexico. Scared to make the move alone. I also have two rescue dogs, they are my only kids.

I have no idea how i will know if you reply.

Have a great day.

What area of Mexico do you like? Also what are you scared of?

It all depends if you aready know people from Mexico or not, and if you have any special interest or not. I mainly know people from the south and the country capital, and perhaps that is my main motivation to live in those states, besides my husband being from there too.

Hello @lakeplay2

My house is in Puerto Peñasco Sonora, Its centrally located 5 to 10 min drive to Playa Bonita, El Mirador & Las Conchas. You can google my address: Justo Sierra Y Obregón #20 (333) Puerto Peñasco Sonora Mexico 83353.

I am looking for 3 individuals  to co-living / co-sharing the house.

My place it's a 2 story 2,000 sqft, 3bd, 2.5 bathrooms, huge carport plus car garage. You can literally walk out to the grocery store, 2 tortillerias, a snack store, 5 -10 min  drive to Playa Bonita,  El Mirador,  Playa Las Conchas.

Baja beaches are gorgeous but El Mar de Cortez it's known for it's pristine cristal clear, and super clean beaches. Great for all water sports but also Kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing ect.

What I love about Peñasco for it's laid back, warmth people and slow pace atmosphere. Desert, oceanic landscaping. Plus you don't need to take an expensive charter boat trip to see whales, dolphins, sea lions and more.

Sea food restaurant are super delicious and everywhere!

The house comes fully furnished & equipped, just bring your personal belongings. The Master bedroom will be $1,000 USD month. Water, Electricity & Internet is included. The other bedrooms are $800 a month.

Hope to hear from you!
