Local grocery store near lifestyles resort in puerto plata

I will be staying in a resort in puerto plata . I own a Villa and new to the area. Where would I get groceries? I will need to find a ride also . What is a safe form of getting to and from the store ?

@manginodebra when we move to puerto plata from punta cana. we use the uber app to get around. but wven though here in puerto plata the drivers want pesos instead of getting paid through the app because they want to over charge you. so for example if you staying at apartment in toree alta and yoh want yo get to the supermarket the app chargers 150 pesos but the uber driver which uses the app to get customers they charge 250 pesos whuch is unfair. because if they using the app to get customers why not stick with payment through the app!.🤔🤥

From Lifestyles you can use a taxi. Ask there if they offer any type of shuttle. There are several larger grocery stores in Puerto Plata, the most complete is Jumbo.
