CPR Address Certificate Bahrain Id Renewal

My CPR has expired and I need to renew it , however I do not have an address in Bahrain. I have afriend who lives and wondering if they can provide the address for me to renew the Id.

I am a Bahraini National born and raise outside the country so I dont know procedures in Bahrain.

They can but sometimes CIO rejects if the people are not related.

If it isnt allowed , what will be my cheapest option?

is there such leasing agreement available for 1 week stay..or perhaps I can use a hotel .

I dont know what to do , I called cpr agent but asking for 350 dinar i think its alot for an id…

any suggestions?

Hotels don't work for this purpose. For proof of address you need to have a lease agreement of at least a year with someone. Try with the friend route and if it doesn't work, try to get a lease agreement from someone.

The required documents to issue the address certificate are:

1- Contract Copy.

2- Document proving the registration of the lease contract in Bahrain.bh

My question is where do I find No. 2?
