Hi all,
I've been offered a job in Askar & wondering where would be best to stay. I would be moving with my wife & 2 year old daughter.
I like the idea of being close to restaurants & nice outdoor spaces. Not overly interested in nightlife however every so often would go out for an evening.
Would living in Amwaj Island be to far of a commute to work each day ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Amwaj to Askar? Good luck. This is as about as far as you can drive in Bahrain generally and you will deal with horrifying traffic everyday. Expect an hour either way.
The closest community to Askar is Riffa Views. I moved to RV 10 years when I had a job in Askar for proximity to work and school (Kids went to RVIS).
