hi I'm maltese married to a moroccane women, we bought land and property in morocco but the notary said that my name can6be on the documents as I am a foreigner.

is this true or I've been coned .

I've never heard of this before. There are some restrictions on foreigners buying agricultural property.

@raybusuttil Hello! If the land is designated rural/agricultural, then foreigners cannot be on the title.

oh yes I found that on internet yesterday, but no the land I bought is with all the permits to build.

my problem now is I invested a lot of money this was in 2018, then the covid came and after the war in Ukraine and I couldn't come to morocco,  and then some problems and expenses arose back home so I ended up with no capita to build

now I am saerch

foreigners, both residents and non-residents, have the opportunity to buy real estate in Morocco. However, there is a restriction on the acquisition of agricultural lands. Foreigners are not allowed to buy agricultural properties in Morocco.
