Canforbra

Hey,

I have not been on here for awhile. I am currently, out of the country and my wife picked up my residency card, as I gave her power of attorney for that purpose.

I am thinking about going back to brazil in the next few months probably  but I have some crazy stuff with me. I am wondering if I could bring military gear into the country or not? No I am not talking a rife but I do have some magazines and a plate carrier.

Currently, I am in a rehabilitation center after a mortar hit me in late September.

Thanks

Pablo888

@canforbra - Today is Veteran's Day in the US.

Thank you for your service.

Re: military gear - I would not recommend bringing anything that the PF would consider dangerous - even magaziines.  It is better to ask for clearance first and may be get those shipped rather than bringing them yourself.  The shipper would know what paperwork to fill out and what declarations to make.

Hope for a quick and complete recovery.

11/11/24 @Canforbra.  I'm sorry to hear that you were wounded, and glad that you  made it back alive.  I second @Pablo888's wishes for your speedy recovery.

I also second his suggestion to get advance clearance from the Brazilian Consulate before trying to bring military gear in.
