Job offer in Dubai - Have 3 Kids but thinking to leave them in UK

Hi all,

I have been offered a role in Dubai which x 3 my salary in the UK. I have 3 kids and a wife but they are now in school especially the older kids are now going to a very good secondary school in the UK. I also have my parents who live there and are close with my kids.

I am stuck in a difficult position as the role is very exciting but at the same time I am thinking the only way this will work financially will be to leave my family in the UK and also to manage risk, I dont want them losing their school places they are at the moment.

Just wondering if anyone else has done this, how did you manage it? Money is not my driving force, so I would be content with the amount I am in the UK but it be great to try this for maybe 1-2 years and see how it goes.
