No update on EP Application after more than 3 weeks (approx. 24 days)

Hi guys, I’d like to inquire regarding my employment pass application to MoM which hasn’t been approved yet since its submission 3 weeks ago. It was submitted by the employer on my behalf. However, I’d like to ask whether the delay could be caused by any reason?

Here’s the overview about my background: I’m an Indonesian (23 years old), holding bachelor in accounting from indonesian local university. The employer sponsoring my pass application is a big 4 accounting firm in Singapore which I’ve just accepted their offer last month. I’ve had 2 years + experience in the relevant assurance or auditing industry, working remotely in indonesia with a mid tier but top 5 audit firm in Singapore. I haven’t tendered my resignation to the firm yet as i’m waiting for the MoM approval for me to work on site with my next employer. The employer has done the self assessment test which shows i’m eligible and submitted the education verification result. May I know from my scenario, how high is the possibility for my pass to be approved?

There is no delay: The average processing time is 4 - 8 weeks, but some cases can take shorter or longer, depending on factors entirely out of your control. The key here is patience!

It is good that you did not resign from your previous job yet, as approval is never 100% certain (again often due to factors you cannot influence).

P.S. for me also it is 3 weeks. They applied on 10th January. But still pending. Although MoM asked for some additional documents from my employer on 2nd week.My company already submitted additional docs. Waiting for the outcome🤞

My employer applied my Employment Pass on 24 January. The status is still pending. I'll update if there is news. Hopefully everything goes well for all of us!

Hi guys!

My employer applied my EP on 16 Jan 2025 (started showing as pending status) and still in pending status as of writing. Also, I asked the recruiter if there are notifications from MOM that the review process might be further delayed but they said none.

Hoping for good MOM feedback for everyone! Let's just pray for the best!
