Hello,
I need an advice from Istanbul's connoisseurs!
A friend that I appreciate errrr... A lot ^^ .. Is coming for few days in Istanbul. So as I will see him at evening, I wonder what are the places that would be best to meet him. Taksim is very noisy, but I'm sure there are some special beautiful atmospheres ( nooo, please don t tell me to go to 360 or those aseptic "without soul" bars and restaurants)
I noticed Cezayir street is cute and cosy, and I found a rooftop in Galata not bad, but maybe you have ideas?

or you can try just nearby "tophane" i know some places over there more quiet than Istiklal.
