Short term job and rental property needed in Gibraltar

Hi There

I am considering a move from the UK to Gib early next year, and am in the process of researching. I have funds to support myself for a month or two, but would like to get a job and property eventually.

Can anyone recommend any websites where I can find details of short term lets/rooms shares?

I have 7 years experience in estate agency in the UK and wondered where is best to look for employment? Are there any recruitment consultancy companies based there?

I know there are many UK shops out there, does anyone know how to see if any positions are available?

Is it necessary to speak Spanish, I know the basics.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Welcome to Expat-Blog

I suggest you post an advert in the Shared accommodation in Gibraltar and hopefully you can soon, find a nice,cosy and safe place to stay

Also you should post your resume in the Jobs in Gibraltar section and mention your qualifications or experiences according to the job your are applying for..

I'm sure you will get more feedback from the other members of Expat-Blog

Are you looking for work in an estate agent?
Also are you looking for accommodation, I have a spare room that I rent out to help people find their feet. Accommodation here is scarce and expensive, the cheapest way is to live in Spain and walk. But that seems to have its own pit falls.
