HI, I will arrive in AHU soon and I am starting to look at the relevant classified pages for cars. I noticed lets say a Pajero 2010 with 30.000 KM will cost lets say 80k but similar cars in Sharja are much cheaper? How come and what to watch out for?

Sharjah has a reputation for substandard cars, better watch out. If you are particular about a used car, better take it with minimum warranty from reputable used car dealership.

I too will be new to the country (Abu Dhabi), and will need a car. Do most Ex-pats purchase used cars? And how will I know who is reputable?
