Hi

This web page might be helpful, especially for foreigners, I guess the locals know their buses anyway :)www.mauritius-buses.com

It won't give you the exact time when a bus is departing, but you will be shown the route and alternatives. Times are anyway not really needed since even on side roads the buses come about every 15 mins. Just enter the start end end point and let the site search the bus for you.

Regards and a happy new year and don't fire to much works tonight. ;)

Thanks Waller,

The website looks useful - particularly the detail about air-conditioned buses - I'd seen signs for some.

It is useful, I used it the last months when I had to go to Port Louis from Bel Air /RS.

But I think there are not all Bus lines included or the names are different to them I know.
For example: try to find the route from Port Louis to Bagatelle.

Unfortunately not even on the web page of the government all buses are listed. This is were he got all the information from.
For example the 52A Albion - Port Louis is not on this. It's run by NTC buses and I think every 15 minutes a bus should leave. The given alternative (taking the Rose Hill route to Petite Riviere and from there to PL) is too expensive you pay much more than the direct line.
