Which is the more trustworthy Private Health Insurance?

Post new topic

Effe

I just moved in Malta few month ago and I was told to get a private Health Insurance Plan.
I don't like the way my Insurance has handled my application: I have the feeling I've been tricked into choices that are not strait forward: I was asked to list any medical issue I had in the last 7 years and, after I did it I was told: "sorry, it is actually just the last four years" and now my coverage doesn't include medical issues more than 4 years old.
I was also asked, when I applied for the policy, to rush to their office to get the coverage from the first of the month. On the 12 of February I received an email saying that my "application was been processed" and I got my package and Insurance card today (February 28, 2014).
My coverage, though, has started on Feb the 1st ("because Bupa coverage only starts the 1st of the month).
It doesn't sound right!

sounds like unethical practices to me
