Hello all,

Based on my E-106 form from The Netherlands, we received a Certificate of Entitlement, granting us access to public Health care in Malta.
These Certificates are valid for one year and need to be renewed next month. I searched all over, but I couldn't find out how this is done.
Does anybody know how to go about this?

Are you working in Malta ? If not, are you of state retirement age ?

georgeingozo

can you get another E106 form from The Netherlands, or is your current one still valid ?

Hi George,

My E-106 is still current. I am a "migrant worker", working in The Netherlands and living in Malta.
The E-106 is valid "until cancelled" and recognized as such by the entitlement office.
So I would just have to get a renewal of the Certificate of Entitlement, really.

georgeingozo

yes, I believe so

It turned out to be very easy and efficient.
I sent an email to the entitlement office with this question. They replied almost immediately that they would call me on my landline to confirm the details. They did this within minutes and now everything is sorted and they are sending the renewed Certificates via the regular mail.
Fantastic service! Bravo!
