Documents for residence

Post new topic

Asti Leo

We are a family from Ukraine. We've already come to Malta and are on our way to apply for residence. I understand we have to get our documents translated. I'm an interpreter myself (bachelor degree). Can I translate the documents myself or do we need to deal with some translating agency? Do we need to have our documents notarized (birth certificate copy and others)? Can anyone give me the contacts of people who have the legal right to do it, please? Thank you

Hi Asti Leo,

I had the same issue when I applied my my 5 years old son e-Residency card. And yes, you'll need to have your documents (copies) translated and certified by a notary before you can apply for it.  If I can remember, I paid about 30 to have my son's birth certificate to be translated from Portuguese to English and with the certified stamp.

Hi Antonio,

Did you remember where you make the translation? I need to do the same with some documents of my wife from Portuguese to English.

Thanks

Hi, I don't thing I have that person's number anymore, I got it from the Internet previously, but I know someone else who may be able to help you. What documents do you need to be translated?
