Where can I find a good French course or teacher in or near Tamarin?

Hello

My partner and I are moving to Mauritius in September and we hope to live in Tamarin or Black River. I will be finishing my Masters in Urban Planning between September and December 2014 and would like to have French lessons a couple of times a week from the start of October, before hopefully starting a job in January 2015. Can anyone recommend a good and reasonably priced teacher or course please, and how much is this likely to cost me? (We will have a car but my partner will be using it to get to Middlesex Uni in Vacaos each day, so I'll need to travel by public transport to wherever the course is - I hear there are some in Port Louis.) I had French lessons at school but can't remember much, so will need to start as a beginner again.

Thanks

Tessa

Hi Tessa,

I suggest you to have a look at the Language classes in Mauritius section, it may help you.

You can also have a look at the language institutions in the business directory, here is the link : https://www.expat.com/en/business/afric … titutions/

Thank you,

Priscilla

Hello I know a good teacher in Flic en Flac. She specialises in French for speakers of other languages and also works at the Alliance Francaise and at home (in Flic en Flac). Let me know if you are still looking and I can pass you her details.
