You may not qualify for a Work Permit in VN unless you are a specialist welder.
Maybe try the oil and maintenance companies, ( Vung Tau ), they may be after Sub Arc, Pipe Cert welders.

Many, many Vietnamese are welders - and have their own welding kits!

My profession is electronics but even I have a plasma welding set at home! Love the way it cuts steel like butter.

Still, your experience in specialised areas of construction welding might find a home - search under steel buildings in PanPages VN Trade Index.

The best way to get a job is to visit VN (no visa needed for two weeks) AFTER setting up interviews. SaiGon is VietNam's largest manufacturing area.

Jaitch, Thank you it is possible to get in there with out a Working Permit we used to follow the rules and regulation, can u endorse me to your friend ?

Not too many. Welders are ten-a-penny, good welders are worth much more.
